Google Chrome is rumored to get a native Dark mode in respect to the light and dark theme of Windows 10. The native Dark mode of Google Chrome is currently in testing mode and only available through the Google Chrome Canary project. Google Chrome Canary is a test version of the original Chrome browser where Google tests all the new and upcoming feature before it makes to the final version of the browser.

The Dark mode helps to reduce the eye fatigue in low light conditions and it also helps in reducing the battery consumption on some of the AMOLED display devices.
The Chrome's Dark theme is designed to automatically make a switch from dark/light mode based on the system user-interface theme. Additionally, Chrome will also provide users to choose either dark or light mode permanently.
In case, you are curious about using and checking out the Dark mode in Google Chrome browser, here's our ready-to-use guide for you.

How to Run iOS Apps on Android Device?

You will hardly find any Android developer without an Android phone, but I know a lot of iOS developers who dont have an iPhone. They either run their apps on emulators, borrow friends iPhone for some time or simply ask them to test. You might also want to try some apps which are available for iPhones only. Thus, there can be a number of reasons why you would want to run iOS apps on Android.
iPhones are still not so affordable and come with a hefty price, so the majority of people cant afford that. But if you just want to try some apps and games available on the iOS platform only, heres a workaround. Today, I will explain how to run iOS apps on Android using an emulator. Both iOS and Android phones run on ARM-based hardware, so there are some ways which allow us to run iPhone apps on an Android device.

Things to Remember:
Though you can run iOS apps on Android there are a few things you should remember to make the process smooth and hassle-free.
  • Your Android phone should have at least 512MB of RAM. However, I wont recommend it to try on any phone with less than 1.5GB of RAM. Otherwise, you may experience lag while installing or using ios apps on Android.
  • Your phone must have at least required storage empty plus some more for running apps smoothly. Every app needs some free space to save or fetch the required files smoothly.
  • The emulators mentioned below are not available on Play Store. They are developed by some unknown sources and hence risks are always associated with them. The very first thing required is to allow app installation from unknown sources and sideload them. So, you cant expect to run every iOS apps on them. This will be a trial and error procedure.

3 Ways on Run iOS Apps on Android

1. Using an Online Emulator
If you just want to test or run some iOS apps, you can try an online emulator like Appetize iOS emulator. This is one of the easiest ways to run iOS apps without any risks. Yes, some of you might not want to get involved in sideloading apk from outside Play store. if you are also one of them, just follow this link and click on Tap to Play button. This is one of the simplest methods to test one or two apps.
Its a browser-based iOS emulator works with HTML5 and Javascript and allows you to upload your own iOS apps in a few steps. I have tested this emulator for a few apps and didnt find any issue. So, you can also try it.
2. CIDER
CIDER is one of the most popular iOS emulators for Android. It allows you to run iOS apps on Android with such ease that you will feel like you are running any other Android app. The process is simply straightforward. You just need to visit this link and download the Cider apk file. Then, go to Security settings on your Android phone, allow installing apps from other sources and install the application. Finally, launch the app to install and use any iOS apps.

In simple words, Cider creates an iOS-like environment on your Android where you can easily run and test apps. The Cider iOS emulator is developed by some students of Columbia University, and it doesnt work in all devices. If you are using any latest Android smartphone by a popular manufacturer, you wont face any issue. But, if you own an age-old Android phone, it may not support Cider. Try it once and then tell me whether you succeeded or not.
3. iEMU or Padiod
iEMU is another popular iOS emulator for Android. Though I havent tested it on multiple devices, as per the reviews it is lighter than the Cider. It allows you to create a virtual iPhone environment on your Android where you can install and test a few apps. The app doesnt require large storage but uses a considerable amount of RAM while running any iOS app on Android.

iEMU is also an open-source project maintained by many developers and so bugs are always expected. Just like the previous emulator, download the apk from this link, allow app installation from unknown sources on your Android and install it. Once you have done, launch it and start installing and using your favourite iOS apps. iEMU is also not supported by all the Android phones, so trying it on an older phone may waste your time. Also, dont try to run any heavy apps or games on this emulator.

How to get OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition fingerprint animation on the regular OnePlus 6T

OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition gets a unique fingerprint sensor animation that is inspired by supercar engines.
OnePlus recently launched a new version of its OnePlus 6T in collaboration with supercar manufacturer McLaren. This special edition of its flagship device is called OnePlus 6T McLaren Edition. This edition came with a new finish and look, and the only two changes present in the device are the addition of 10GB RAM and the inclusion of a faster Warp Charge.

Apart from the two changes in the hardware, one of the new changes is the inclusion of theme elements such as the wallpaper and in-display fingerprint animation that are exclusive to the device. These exclusive elements are similar to what the company did with the OnePlus 5T Star Wars edition and the OnePlus 6 Avengers Edition. However, what if you just recently purchased the OnePlus 6T with no idea that the company was planning to launch a McLaren Edition of the same?
Well, you cant do much about the hardware especially the 10GB RAM though there is no practical difference in real world between 8GB and 10GB RAM along with the speed of charging in the Warp and Dash charge technologies. But, we can definitely take a look at the software bit. Before we proceed though, theres a catch here. The device needs to be rooted if the user needs the boot animations, and sounds on a standard OnePlus 6 or 6T.

If you are rooted then well, of course, you can download a Magisk Module to get all the wallpapers, boot animation, sounds and even the fingerprint scanner animation on your OnePlus 6 and 6T. But, we are here to focus on the people without root access. That said, a user does need root access to change the boot animation.
Rest of the elements such as the wallpapers, ringtones and notification sounds can all be changed by simply downloading the files on the device and then changing the assents. The folks at XDA-Developers have figured out a way to change the file on the device or with the help of adb access to the device, and neither of them require the device to be rooted.
